How to book

Scheduled tours

If you wish to join a scheduled tour, please email us at info@ecoturs.org the name and date of the tour, the number of people, and any questions you may have. If you want us to ring you to discuss any aspects of the tour please give your telephone number and location.

Private tours

If you wish us to organize a private tour, please email at info@ecoturs.org give us the dates you have in mind, very roughly what you want to see and an indication of the pace of tour you require. Typically a tailor-made tour for 4 people will have a similar per person cost to an equivalent scheduled, and for 2 people will cost around 25% more per person. For groups of 6 or more people a private tour will typically cost less than a scheduled tour.

ProAves reserves

If you simply want to reserve accommodation (food is included) at a ProAves reserves, again please email info@ecoturs.org with the dates and numbers of people, method of transport time of arrival, and any special food requirements. We can provide local transport as follows at additional cost:

El Dorado: from Barranquilla, Santa Marta or Minca (4 wheel drive jeep required). Also transport within the reserve (recommended).
Ceruelan Warbler reserve: Transport from San Vicente (4 wheel drive jeep required).
Paujil: We can arrange someone to meet you at Puerto Pinzón and help you hire transport to the reserve locally (jeep or boat according to weather conditions)
Pangan: Transport from Tumaco. Local guide from Junin to carry your bag to the reserve (4km hard walking).

We require a 25% deposit at the time of booking, and the balance at least 2 weeks before. However for El Dorado due to very limited availability we require 50% deposit at the time of booking. Deposits are non-refundable at our discretion. See FAQ for how to pay.
